Dance is a metaphor of and for Africans, Africans dance during many events of everyday life: during a marriage engagement and at a wedding reception, in celebration of child birth, in the planting and harvesting seasons, in their market days and devotional sessions, in the beginning of and end of school day, and in celebration of death. Most African dance troupes will feature wearing flamboyant ensembles and costumes necessary for spectators understanding of African concepts or use of color. These outfits will reflect colors from a variety of African geographic environments
Come, experience, the extraordinary wonder of African Heritage, Traditions, Identity, Culture and history merge into joyous celebration through dance spun by D.J Johnny Gee.
